Corinthians 5:17 “Therefore if any man be in
Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all
things are become new.”
We
all can look back at those times where our thoughts over took any
teachings we might have learned about what and who God wants us to
be. We when lack the energy, and just feel lifeless to go on and let
ourselves barely make it through the day.
I
have had many of those times and even recently gone through a short
period of that stagnation. Remembering that I am a new creation in
Christ and that I have become new since he is my life, this helps me
to focus on being who God wants me to be. Keeps me feeling more
energized and ready to study his words and try to apply them into my
daily life and even keep them deeper in my heart.
Hard
days, hard times come to us all. Remember to always P.U.S.H--- Pray
Until Something Happens. Keep God in mind and look for his light no
matter how dark the days and nights are he will still show you his
light to help you.

Exodus
20:8 “Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy. “
Getting
set free on the Sabbath!
The
Sabbath is a day for deeper worship and communing with Jesus than
wha we normally do during the other six days he gave us to follow
him.
If
we let the weight of this world continue to weigh us down- we will
never recognize the joys that Jesus gives us in our daily lives.
Feeling
used, thrown away- all eats at your sould leaving dark spots that
are not filled with God's love.
Giving
all our concerns worldly or otherwise to God, the drak spots can be
filled with light and he will give us inner peace and continue to
lead us in his ways so that we may become more like him.
God,
Grant
me the strength to give my all to you and to let your love shine
through me so that others may view you in me. Lead me to you and let
my thirst, my worry all be quenched by all that you and only you can
give me. Amen.
God
will give you peace, you only have to let him in!

Praise comes in many shapes and forms.
It does not always have to be formal or even spoken. We can praise
the things that God gives as we go through the day or at the end of
the day during a nightly prayer. Sharing an appreciation with
someone or composing about the beauty of our world and of course, we
all know about singing praises.
As one who came to God only a few
years ago, I am still learning to praise him and appreciate all that
God does for me on a daily basis. I am, just like every one of you;
the one woman I wrote about. As we come to know God, we are changed
and we become reborn with his love flowing through us. The daily
gifts are simply extras that he gives to show us how much he cares
for his people and even for those people who do not know him yet or
deny him. Can we follow in his lead? Can we- as one woman- show care
for those we do not know or those that would deny us in some way?
God commands us to love him and to love our neighbors, and I do not
think that he simply meant only the neighbors down the road. I
believe he meant for us to consider the whole Earth as our
neighborhood. Let us honor him and bring this commandment close to
our hearts and work to put it in our daily lives.

Sin...
Sin is all around us and yes, even still within us. Trying, seeking to push us towards the side of the devil. I'm still a little strange at mentioning the devil at times even to write it. I spent so many years denying that he even existed, that evil only came from people and not some other being that had once been so close to God. It's been a definite mind shift for me, like several other things. Like getting rid of old rituals, I had thought for a while that some of the celebrations that I used to celebrate could be incorporated into a Christian life, but then I've come to realize that if I am letting God make me new, then that means all of that has to go.
Like it says in Hebrews 10 22:25
We should draw boldly nearer to God which only became possible after the crucifixion of Jesus Christ.
We should hold hope, be faithful to God. Do not hold on to old rituals of the former self. That can lead you to stray back to the easy ways.
We should work together and with each other and for each other, always encouraging one another and ALWAYS LOVING one another as we are commanded to do.
Remember God will never forsake us and it is impossible for him to lie, so the rewards and blessings that he has promised us through his word will one day be ours, only in his time, when we are ready to receive them.

How
does one pray to God about all the things that might be holding you
back but still 'bathe all your prayers in Thanksgiving'? I'm not
understanding this tonight.
I'm not sure if they are meaning to always remember to be
thankful for all that God has given you even when you are praying
for help to overcome what is holding you back or if there is more to
it than that.Psalms 98: 4-6
4Make a joyful noise unto the Lord,
all the earth: make a loud noise, and rejoice, and sing praise.
5Sing unto the Lord with the harp;
with the harp, and the voice of a psalm.
6With trumpets and sound of cornet
make a joyful noise before the Lord, the King.
I can understand praising and be joyful, I'm not so good with loud noise and public displays, even when that public is people that I am around all the time. I think I am afraid of what others will think too much if I am more outspoken. I'm not sure where to go from here with this, I'm not even sure at this point how to pray to overcome the self doubt and extreme shyness that I have that tends to turn into keeping myself quiet even when I know someone else is doing something that is not right....

"Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present
nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything
else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God
that is in Christ Jesus our Lord." Romans 8: 38-39
GOD LOVES US!!!!
Not just the ones of us that devote lots of time to our church or even attend every Sunday, he loves those who even stay home on Sundays sleeping or watching TV. If you are reading this, then he does love you. He wants you to understand that yes, there will always be hard times in life and we are to call on him to help us through those times. We have many lessons to learn as we walk our path, he wants to walk with us and help us over the rough spots, and yes even pick up back up when we fall and get scraped. There is no doubt in my mind that his love is real and that he leads us to answers that we might not think of or even might not want to be the answer. There is a reason, we might not understand, but there is one for everything. Just like our regular parents growing up, we didn't always understand why they did some of the things they did to us or had us do, but they had their reason. If that trust is based in pure love, then there is no need to doubt it.
GOD LOVES US!!!!!
1st. God's love and mercy. he has loved me even when I did not
believe on him nor trust him with my life. when I tried to take my
life he have me words to speak to get me help. when he saw me being
mistreated he gave me different paths to follow. without me even
being aware to acknowledge him he has been guiding me all along
until I got to the emptiness that nothing could fill and he filled
that hole on my soul.
acknowledge him in all ways. both good AND bad? praise him not only for the beauty but also for the dark that brings up our fears and doubts.
Agree with one another and love one another... why is that so hard ti Di sometimes? Are we that busy looking for the bad in situations that we forget about the good or are we ignoring it.

We do not make our own way, God had
made our way. The twist and turns however, are of our own making. We
make choices that lead us closer to them and then lead us back into
the world without keeping him close and until we choose to keep him
close and live in the world only then will we be able to have our
eyes unscaled and see some of his plans for us.
