GIrlfriends in God
Asking God “Why”…. there are times when we have all done this and I’m
sure still will be in the future. Especially people who like to have
things all planned out and set, do not always appreciate the little
surprises that God throws out. And we want to know “Why”
He definitely has his reasons for everything that we are going
through and even for the emotions that we are feeling. There is
something that he is trying to lead us to, or to teach us or even just
show us about ourselves, our situation or our place in the world.
This verse speaks the most to me today,
No
matter what we have gone through or what we will go through in the
future, God promises: “So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be
dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will
uphold you with my righteous right hand: “ (Isaiah 41:10).
Whenever I think of all the things in my life that I have gone
through, I am amazed at how some of them have turned out and know that
could only be because of God’s hand being on me at that time. That he
was leading me to where he wanted me to be and trying to shape me, even
while I was fighting him and trying to keep control for myself. I can
only give my everlasting thanks to him for keeping me during those
struggles.
